Eggplant Parmesan

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

Slice the eggplant into 1/4 inch slices. 
In a casserole dish spread spaghetti sauce to cover the bottom
Place a layer of eggplant slices in the sauce
Then add a layer of mozzarella cheese
Continue to layer until all  the eggplant slices are gone. 
Top off with spaghetti sauce and cheese.
Sprinkle some Italian seasoning and some basil.
Place in oven and bake in preheated oven for 35
minutes, or until golden brown.

  1. IS RED SAUCE THE BEST TO USE FOR THIS RECIPE OR CAN WHITE SAUCE BE USED FOR THIS AWESOME DISH?

    1. I honestly don't know how it would turn out with white sauce. I have always seen it made worth red sauce.
